Crossing from Gran Canaria to Guadaloupe

  • The objective is to cross from Gran Canaria to Guadaloupe, and lower the actual performance of 14 days and 17 hours
  • The crossing is of 2700 nm (5000Km), single handed and without assistance
  • Francesco Di Benedetto is one of the very few specialists in ultralight off-shore sailing, he has more than 10 years of experience
  • A team of sailing professionals from all over Europe is already collaborating on the project since August 2006
